Jasper Morris - Inside Burgundy December 2024
90-91 Justice, Crais, Jouise, the first two less stressed than normal. More whole bunches in the first two, 50% overall. A rich full purple. There was less rain across the year up here, and that may explain the additional concentration. The Gevrey-Chambertin certainly shows a plumper deep red fruit than the preceding wines, with good acidity while the stems appear as a supporting item, not the main actors. Persistent. Drink from 2028-2033.
