Margaux

The top wines of Margaux captivate with their fruit-driven and silky elegance. Seductive and often a bit more charming than the wines of its prestigious neighbors—St. Julien, St. Estèphe, and Pauillac—at least in our opinion. This is why Margaux wines are often referred to as “the most feminine of the Médoc.”

The diverse soils of this 1,400-hectare appellation consist primarily of limestone, chalk, clay, and sand, while gentle slopes shape the landscape.

We have a particular fondness for the wines of Château Rauzan-Ségla and Château Palmer. And standing in a league of its own: the iconic wines of Château Margaux.
