92 Gritsch's 2022 Ried Singerriedel Grüner Veltliner Smaragd begins rich, elegant and slightly woody-spicy on the dense and slightly grassy nose. It is rich and powerful on the palate, with a dense texture and fine tannins as well as a spicy finish and a still youthful bitter note. It needs time. Tasted at Schloss Dürnstein, Wachau, in September 2023.
