94-95 The 2019 Kallstadter Saumagen Riesling GG is precise, fresh and even coolish on the well-articulated and exciting limestone-scented nose that is still ascetic but delivers so much terroir expression. Silky yet tight and fresh on the elegant and juicy palate, this is a fresh, energetic, very long and salty-piquant Riesling with exceptional length and vibration. A great Saumagen—I can't resist swallowing even the sample (tasted in April 2020).
