94-96 Helles Gelbgrün, Silberreflexe. Feine Nuancen von Blütenhonig, Mandarinenzesten, gelbe Tropenfrucht unterlegt, tabakig, angenehme Kräuterwürze. Stoffig, extraktsüße Textur, finessenreiche Säurestruktur, salzig-mineralisch im Abgang, sehr gute Länge, sicheres Reofepotenzial.

95 From the oldest vineyards of the domain, the 2019 Ried Loibenberg Grüner Veltliner Smaragd opens with a finely flinty bouquet of ripe mirabelles and crushed stones. Mouthfilling and rich but also fresh and mineral, with remarkable finesse and precision, this is a very elegant and refined Loibenberg from the middle of the slope and partly from the bottom of the slope. A great Veltliner form the warmest cru Lucas Pichler cultivates. 14% alcohol. Tasted at the domain in June 2021.
