94 The 2019 Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru En Orveaux unfurls in the glass with aromas of plums and red berries mingled with peonies, orange rind, sweet spices and loamy soil. Medium to full-bodied, velvety and concentrated, it's deep and layered, with powdery tannins, lively acids and a long, saline finish.

94 En Orveaux – this small but exquisite Premier Cru vineyard is located just within the Vosne-Romanée appellation, bordering Chambolle Musigny. Cathiard's 2019 En Orveaux is still very youthful at present and displays the typical sweet fruitiness of this warm vintage. Aromas of dark heart cherry, gently sour cherry and soft spice delight the palate. Seductive from the very first sip.

May Wines March 2025: The site is still just in Vosne-Romanée and Nahe near Musigny, still clearly youthful in 2019 and shows the typical sweet fruit of the warm vintage, good length on the palate, dark heart cherries, somewhat soft and seductive from the first sip.
