Château Léoville Las Cases
Las Cases is one of the three famous and coveted sisters in St. Julien. Unlike Léoville-Poyferré and Léoville-Barton, Las Cases doesn’t have a grand château, but it does have (rare in Bordeaux) contiguous plots. 60 of its approximately 100 hectares lie majestically on the historic estate grounds.
In the vineyards, 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 19% Merlot, 13% Cabernet Franc, and 3% Petit Verdot are grown. The Grand Vin makes up 40% of the production.
Experts say that Léoville-Las Cases would be a candidate for Premier Cru status (there are only five of these) if a miracle ever happened and the famous classification were to be revised, as it was for Mouton-Rothschild in 1973.
The château is run very much in the style of a Premier Cru: the Delon family, the current owners, is known for announcing their En Primeur prices quite late, often even after the Premier Crus, and they tend to align their pricing with those top estates.

St. Julien
The smallest appellation among the Médoc’s most famous, covering just 900 hectares, may not boast a Premier Cru, but it is home to exceptional 2ème, 3ème, and 4ème Crus—the very best of which we proudly offer in our selection.
Anyone who has ever driven past the majestic Léoville estates might never want to leave. It is believed that in the 18th century, the stunning Léoville estate was the largest in all of Médoc before it was divided into the three renowned wineries we know today. Since the 1980s, St. Julien has offered unmatched consistency in quality, which we deeply admire. We equally appreciate its subtlety, balance, and strong sense of tradition.
