93 The 2022 Loibner Ried Steinertal Riesling is dense and concentrated on the ripe and intense nose that can't deny a certain concentration or even over maturity that intermingles with mineral substance and iodine freshness. Round and intense yet surprisingly finessed and playful on the saline palate, with finely grained and rather mild and playful acidity, this is an aromatic Riesling classic that doesn't weigh too much even though the nose had forced those fears. The finish is quite long yet never powerful. A classic! 12.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted in April 2024.

Falstaff July 2023

96-98 Bright yellow-green with silver reflections. Very fine white peach fruit, floral nuances, a hint of orange blossom, delicate blossom honey in the background, very attractive bouquet. Complex, juicy, nuances of white stone fruit, fine acidity, mineral-lemon touch, salty finish, very refined, long-lasting, delicate, light-footed style.
