94 The 2022 Loibner Ried Loibenberg Riesling has a complex perfume of crushed stones and iodine intertwined with lemon juice and stone fruit aromas. Dense and concentrated on the palate, this is a well-structured and balanced Riesling with ripe, very elegant, concentrated but still transparent and finessed fruit. It is stimulatingly saline on the mouthwatering finish. The aftertaste is long, saline and aromatic and always uplifted and fresh. 13% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted in April 2024.

Falstaff July 2023

97-99 Bright yellow-green with silver reflections. Delicate yellow tropical fruit, nuances of pineapple and passion fruit, a hint of mandarin zest, inviting, fine floral notes. Full-bodied, complex, delicate mineral spice, subtle, well-integrated acidity, seamless, long-lasting, a multifaceted accompaniment to food, great aging potential.
