The roughly 900-hectare-small Saint-Julien appellation is one of the most renowned in the Médoc. Although it has no Premier Cru, it impresses with strong 2èmes, 3èmes and 4èmes Crus. The legendary Léoville estates — once a single property — are today three top châteaux. Since the 1980s the region has stood for consistent quality. We appreciate its subtlety and balance, for example in Léoville-Las Cases, Léoville-Poyferré and Talbot.

At 900 hectares the smallest of the most famous appellations of the Médoc, St. Julien has no Premier Cru — but it does have excellent 2èmes, 3èmes and 4èmes crus, the best of which we carry in our range.
Anyone who has driven past the stately Léoville estates barely wants to go home again. It is thought that the magnificent Léoville property was the largest in all of the Médoc in the 18th century, before being divided into the three estates known today. Since the 1980s, St. Julien has offered unparalleled consistency in quality.
We appreciate the subtlety, balance and tradition in equal measure. In St. Julien we love a good number of wines: the 2ème cru Château Léoville-Las Cases, with its clear structure and many-layered aromatics; Château Léoville-Poyferré, the most fruit-driven of the Léoville estates; and Château Talbot, whose gentle wildness has always fascinated us.
