France → Bordeaux → Right Bank → Saint-Émilion
The Saint-Émilion wine-growing region on the right bank of the Dordogne in Bordeaux covers around 5,400 hectares of vineyards. Soils rich in limestone, clay and gravel store warmth and minerality and lend the wines structure, elegance and depth. The main grape is Merlot, complemented by Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. Typical aromas are black cherry, plum, truffle, herbs and fine spice.
